I understand more about this Buddhist Priestess looking gently into my eyes and holding flowers carefully, after my years of Aikido training which taught me that Ki (life source) flows strongly through the eyes and hands. A scene from our visit to the temple of the "Tooth of Buddha" happening during the celebrations of the full moon in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Honoring each other cultures and creating bridges between them is very healing and for an artist a great source of inspiration. In the work of East West Reflections, the format is Eastern, the linen fabric Western… merging into one new creation which has its' own harmony.
